coat of arms of the municipality Kosice

In 1318, Kosice was in the ownership of the rulers Budislav Bernát and Hroznata. Kosice went down in history due to frequent disputes with its neighbours, who incurred countless damages and from whom Kosice had to tolerate just about everything. In the 14th century, several owners changed hands, the most noteworthy being Bohuněk of Kosice, who participated in the Čáslav Parliament. At the beginning of the 16th century, Kosice was transferred to the Chlumec estate.
