The Společná Cidlina Region is situated in the flat area of East Bohemia in the southwest part of the Hradec Kralove Region in the surroundings of the cities Chlumec nad Cidlinou and Nový Bydžov, which fulfil their roles as natural regional centres.

Thanks to the completion and connection to the D1 motorway, the region has become easy to access from all nearby and distant corners of the Czech Republic. The dense network of local roads connect to important arterial roads (road and railway), which connect the region with all of Europe.

In terms of air transport, the nearby international airport in Pardubice can be used.
